About me, Ophélie Silva Ribeiro, interior architect in Cannes

Interiors designed to make you feel good.

I am Ophélie Silva Ribeiro, interior architect and founder of Studio Solaz, based in the South of France. I design calm, light-filled interiors, shaped around the people who live in them.

My approach combines attention to detail, aesthetic rigour and careful listening to reveal the soul of each place. Every project is a dialogue between your needs and the identity of the space.

My background

I have always paid particular attention to the places I pass through and to the way they shape how we live. The light coming into a room, a material, a volume, the flow between spaces, or simply the feeling you have as you step through a door: for me, interior architecture begins with this attention to the details that make all the difference.

You work with me from the first meeting to handing over the keys: one single contact, easy to reach, who knows your project by heart.

  1. Always

    The South

  2. 13 years

    Hospitality

Before founding Studio Solaz, I worked in hospitality for 13 years. It taught me the importance of attention to detail, of listening, of welcoming people, and above all of the human side. These are the qualities I now place at the heart of every project.

  3. Elsewhere

    Travel

My years of travel and working abroad have also shaped the way I see things. Discovering other cultures, other architectures and other ways of living has nurtured my sensitivity and my desire to create singular spaces, far from standard formulas and fleeting trends.

The Solaz spirit

Studio Solaz was born of this desire: to imagine interiors that invite you to slow down, breathe and take in your surroundings.

Inspired by the Mediterranean and the gentle way of life of the South, the studio creates spaces where natural light, materials, volumes and colours speak to one another with simplicity.

I love interiors that don’t try too hard. The ones that leave room for silence, for light and for life.

My approach rests on a timeless, natural and warm aesthetic, in which every element finds its rightful place. I favour authentic materials, clean lines and the details that give a place real personality.

What guides me

Serenity

Each project is an invitation to calm and rest, inspired by the soft light and slow rhythm of the South.

Timelessness

Lasting interiors, far from passing fads, designed to age with elegance.

Listening

Understanding your needs, your wishes and your habits to create a truly bespoke project.

Spaces that reflect you

For me, an interior architecture project is not simply about transforming a space.

It is about understanding the people who will live in it.

Their habits, their wishes, their story, the way they entertain, work, come together or simply feel at home.

Each project is therefore conceived as a meeting between a place and a personality. My role is to reveal the potential of a space while creating an atmosphere that truly reflects you.

At Studio Solaz, I look for that balance between aesthetics and function, character and simplicity, architecture and emotion.

A Mediterranean signature

Through Studio Solaz, I want to create interiors that stand the test of time.

Mediterranean refuges, designed to be lived in to the full.

This is the vision I want to bring to every project: creating less to create better, with intention, sensitivity and particular attention to what makes a place truly unique.
